If you run any kind of small business or are in the publishing industry, then you need a website or blog. Why is that, you ask? That is because we are in the age of the Internet, and that is how people find most businesses these days.
But, where do you begin with web design? First, you need a hosting account. Once you have purchased an account, you will then need to purchase a domain. A domain is the web address that people will go to in order to find your business. Now, if you don’t have a lot of money to spend, you can use sites like wordpress.org or blogspot for a free website. Be wary, though, as these domains end in .wordpress.org or blogspot.com and may look unprofessional. However, the two sites I mentioned are the most commonly used, as is typepad.com. Once you have completed this step, you are now ready to design your website!
Web design can be a daunting task if you have never designed a website before. The Quillity Author Services staff and I would be more than happy to design a website for you using WordPress. We only charge $130 USD, and this includes the purchase of one theme and the Visual Composer plugin. If additional plugins are needed to be purchased, we reserve the right to increase the price to match the cost. You will also have the option (though it is not required) to hire us for monthly maintenance at just $20.00 a month (which boils down to ONLY $5.00 a week!). This will be a recurring charge until you cancel our service. This will let me update your website/blog for you so you don’t have to! We can discuss upon purchase what type of web maintenance you need me to do for your site.
