Dear Friends,

Have you ever wanted to know the story behind Quillity Author Services and how it began? No? Well, I am going to tell it to you anyway. For those who don’t already know, my name is Roxanne Daveney, and I am the brains behind this business. Back in 2011, I designed and created another blog called Literary Lunes. There, I sold an e-zine for free and promoted authors for free. The site still exists and is semi-active. It was mostly a test site to see if I could “make it” in the publishing world. With the help from my publisher back then and some close friends, it was a success.

It has always been my dream to be my own boss. I don’t know about you, but I don’t like working for other people.  I have been writing books since I was a sophomore in high school, and when I graduated college, I decided to pursue my other dream of becoming an author. So, during college and after, I wrote another book. Polished it up which took several years, and found a publisher by the name of Lynn Tincher. While her company is no longer in business, I learned a great deal from her. In fact, Lynn is the inspiration for Literary Lunes.

I ran Literary Lunes Magazine successfully for five years until my schedule became too busy. With the help of various guest bloggers, the Literary Lunes blog is still kept up to date, but the magazine is no longer in circulation. Now that I have the experience of running a successful blog, I am hoping to run an equally successful business.

What exactly is Quillity Author Services you ask? It is a site dedicated to helping authors promote their books and get them set up pre and post publishing. We do just about everything except for cover design, editing, and the actual publishing. Our prices are fair, and we have an affiliates program as well as a directory. We will be launching our advice blog later this year and another magazine sometime in 2017.

Why should you trust me when there are so many crooks out there in the publishing world? Let me be honest with you, I am NOT a publicist, nor am I trained to be. I will NOT list your books on pirating sites. The only people who will receive your books are our book reviewers. We DO NOT PAY OUR REVIEWERS FOR REVIEWS. What you are paying for when you select the book review service, is the operation of the site. I have a staff I have to pay, and I have to pay myself too.

I am always happy to answer questions. If you join our newsletter, you will have access to free and discounted items that are only available to our subscribers. We run sales every few weeks, just for our subscribers.
