Greetings from Playa Del Carmen, Mexico! I am writing to you guys on my last day of vacation with my best friend, Addie. It has been amazing and what the doctor ordered. She has been trying to get me to come here for at least ten years and I finally said yes. Minus the humidity, the weather has been great. There is plenty of shady spots for the pale skinned like me, which made me feel loads better.
But, I’ll post more about my trip on my personal website, Roxanne Daveney another day. Today, I am here to write a review about the latest book I read by Kevin Thompson. He is s new to me author and I am glad I stumbled upon him. I don’t remember how I came across his book titled: Home Based Business: How to Start a Home Based Business, but I think I discovered it through Pinterest & Amazon. It showed up in my recommendations when I purchased another book and decided why not? And you know what? I am glad I did! Without further ado, here is the review.

- This is an excellent book for those just starting out in the business world.
- It is easy & fast to read
- It is packed with information for new business owners.
There really weren’t many cons to this book. My inly issue is that there were some topics I wished the author covered more thoroughly within the book. For example, the prosperity parties.
My over all rating:
4 1/2 Quills
I found this book to be a helpful resource for new entrepreneurs such as myself. While I knew most of what Kevin mentioned inside the manuscript, it was a nice re-assurance to know I am on the right track with mine. I started my first blog more than five years ago, so I pretty much already had the basics covered. What stopped me from giving the book 5 stars is that I felt some of the sections should have been expanded upon a bit further. However, this is a must have tool for new business owners.
Tell me: have you ever read a business book that has helped you or changed the way you run your business? If so, please feel free to post the link in the comments.
